Teresa Annette Hora
October 15, 1947-June 18, 2021
Teresa Annette Hora, 73, went home with the Lord Jesus on June 18, 2021. Teresa was born on October 15, 1947 to Orville and Naomi Tschopp. She graduated from Moline High School in 1965. She married Loren Thomas Hora at First Presbyterian Church in Coal Valley on December 3, 1966, where she was a member during her childhood. Teresa graduated from Drake University in 1971 and was a medical technologist specializing in cancer cell detection. Teresa and Tom moved to Texas in 1994 and retired in 2017. After retirement, Teresa cared for Tom through his long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease until he passed on February 14, 2021.
Teresa is survived by her four children Loren Robert, Erik Thomas, Paul Orville and Seth Daniel Hora; brother Greg Tschopp and sister Sara Lampe. Teresa delighted in her many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
All family and friends are welcome to join in a remembrance of Tom and Teresa's life together at the Coal Valley Municipal Park Pavilion (First Street) on July 31, 2021 at 12:30.
