Thomas Spielman

1949 - 2026

Dr. Thomas Alan Spielman, age 76, of Hayden Idaho, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 9, 2026. Tom was born on August 19, 1949 in Moline, IL, and graduated from Alleman High School in 1967. He also attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1978.

Tom married Sandra Jewell in 1970, and together they shared 55 years of marriage. They built a life together in Erie IL, where they raised their son Erich and daughter Laura. He worked as a Chiropractic Physician for 37 years and was known for his meticulous and thorough care of his patients and was highly regarded in his practice. He was generous, thoughtful, kind, and greeted everyone with a smile.

In his free time Tom enjoyed golfing, motorcycle riding, wine making, gardening, and woodworking. He was a lifelong student of philosophy, religion, history, health, and science. He was especially passionate about his family and faith.

Tom is survived by his wife Sandie, son Erich, daughter Laura (Dave) Aggen, Grandsons David, Asher and Christian Aggen as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Bernice, his brother Daniel and sisters Lyn West and Christine Burda.

A Rosary at 10:15 AM and Funeral Mass will be held on February 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with reception to follow.
