I just want to say how sorry I am to hear about Todd. We met playing pool and had many great matches. We also connected on cards and buying and selling things as well

Todd and I had a unique relationship. First, he was my student in 7th grade language arts. Later, his daughters graced one in my 5th grade classroom and the other in my middle school math classroom. Todd, a former student, now fulfilled the role of a kind and supportive parent, just as Amy you were and as you are.
As a teacher, when your former students visit you, it is a cherished moment. Seeing Todd as an adult was especially touching. His parental role made me so proud of the person he became.
Todd, as a student, had
humor that made smiles happen magically (Many times, I may add, with me covering my mouth to not laugh aloud. His daughters cracked me up, too!). As a parent, all he wanted was the best for his girls, no matter what. He showed it with his support and love for Arianne and Shallin.
Amy, you too, I remember in my classroom, especially with your daughters, supporting them with love and patience. You and Todd were quite the parental duo.
Heaven will be graced with a quite a gentleman (who hopefully remembers how to diagram a sentence!)
Please Amy, Arianne, and Shallin, share my condolences with your family and friends. You will be held closely in my arms and in His.
