Tramar O. Wilson-Yancey of East Moline, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, Ill.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2025 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor P. Wonder Harris will officiate. Cremation rites will follow services. Memorials may be made to the family.
Tramar Ontario Wilson-Yancey was born August 2, 2009; the son of Catherine "Betsy" Wilson and Mario Yancey. Tramar was just 16 years old. He was a Junior at United Township High School, where he played football. Tramar enjoyed hanging with his big brothers and gaming. His dream was to be a professional gamer. Tramar was a big Minnesota Viking fan. Family meant the world to Tramar. He loved his mother and siblings deeply, his nieces and nephews were the light of his life. No one was ever a stranger to him-he had a way of making everyone feel special and included.
Tramar leaves behind a huge family, his mother, Catherine "Betsy" Wilson; his siblings, Tramaine Wilson (Cherrell), Tramarion Wilson-Yancey, Trevelle Teague (Ava), Trevon Teague, Christian Little (Keyyra), De'Vontay Wright, Ciara Little, Kearie Royse, Melshondra Roark, Marionna Yancey, Riajah Yancey, Mariah Holliday, Rionna Yancey, Shacarra Hoskins, DeVontay Wright and D'Savion Wright; a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Tramar was preceded in death by his father, Mario Steed Yancey; sister, Tanea Yancey; great-grandparents, Charles Wilson, Iris Hayslett, Charles Hayslett, Richard and Marjorie Hatlett, Glodeen McGowan; and great-great-grandmother, Sadie Howard, grandparents, Catherine M. Wilson and Perry Yancey.
