Dora Griego, 76, of Tucumcari, NM died Monday, March 4, 2013, at her home in Tucumcari. Rosary will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 7, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 2:00 pm with Father Hyginus Anuta officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 8, 2013, at Tucumcari Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers include Eddie Roberts, Gilbert Pacheco, Tim Reid, John Reid, Billy Aragon, and Ernie Aragon.
Dora was born August 28, 1936, to Pablo and Josephina (Martinez) Aragon in Mosquero, NM. She married Joe Griego June 7, 1956, in Mosquero, NM. Her family will always remember her to be a devoted caretaker and grandma.
Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda (Eddie) Roberts of Clovis, NM, Patty (Gilbert) Pacheco and Donna (Bobby) Madrid of Tucumcari, NM; three brothers, Cruz Aragon, Alfonzo Aragon, and Phil Aragon all of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Bertha Vigil of Albuquerque, NM and Pat Wolfe of Tucumcari, NM; two grandchildren, Dennis Reid (John) of Tucumcari, NM, and Jose (Terri) Madrid of Algona, WA; and five great-grandchildren, Timmy Reid, Izabela Reid, Iliana Madrid, Satiago Madrid, and Addison Madrid. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Josephina; husband, Joe; grandson, Timothy Madrid; two sisters, Josie Aragon and Louise Esquivel-Aragon; and a brother, Pablo Aragon.
