Luicita Arias Obituary
Luicita was born on November 8, 1937, in Leyba New Mexico to Tito and Catalina Lovato. Luicita was a homemaker, and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was a member of the St Anne's Catholic Church, and Belonged to the Sacred Heart Society.
Surviving her is her husband of 66 years, Joe S. Arias; 6 sons, Ralph & wife Cece, David & wife Carol, Robert, Albert & wife Nancy, Alex & wife Rachelle all of Tucumcari NM. and Andy & wife Cindy of Portales NM; 3 daughters, Mary & Alex and Shirley (CeCe) of Tucumcari and Rachel & Carlos of Albuquerque NM; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 2 sisters, Bree Benavidez and Chana Martinez of Tucumcari ; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tito and Catalina Lovato; son, Seferino Arias; and 3 grandchildren, Vania Armijo, James and Julian Arias.
Rosary will be recited at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Monday January 10, 2022, at 9:30 AM with Funeral Mass following in the St. Anne's Catholic Church on Monday January 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM. with Deacon Rafael Aragon officiating. Pall Bearers will be six sons, Ralph, David, Robert, Albert, Andy and Alex. Honorary pall bearers will be her three daughters, Mary, Rachel and Shirely (CeCe). Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari New Mexico.
