Ora E. Miller Meeks

Ora E. Miller Meeks Ora E. Miller Meeks, 91, died at the Autumn Blessings Assisted Living in Logan Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004 following an extended illness. Ora"Miller Meeks was born Dec. 13, 1913 at Alfafa, Okla. She and her family moved to the Forrest community in 1918. She attended and graduated from the Forrest School System in 1930 and received her college education fro Highlands University in Las Vegas. She then taught school in both elementary and high school in the Logan Public School System. She met and married her husband George Meeks in 1934. She was a member of the Logan Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 2000. She is survived by four nephews and numerous friends and former students. Services will be today (Saturday) at 2 p.m. at the Logan Church of Christ with Stanley Newton and Harry Gipson officiating. Following the services, internment will take place at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
