DAVENPORT-Memorial services for Barry Smiley, 92, of Davenport, will be 12:30pm, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries, Davenport. Visitation is one hour before services. Inurnment will follow at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials: Friends of Veterans Memorial Park, Davenport.
Barry died Wednesday, July 11, 2023, at Country Manor, Davenport. He was born November 7, 1930, in Rock Island, son of Charles and Thelma Smiley.
Barry was a Marine, serving in Korea, a firefighter in Rock Island, and a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Anne; children Barry, Susie, Rob; and three grandchildren.
