Bernie J Moseley

June 25, 1944 - November 29, 2024

Bernie Moseley, 80 of Albany Illinois passed away unexpectedly November 29th, at home with his wife, Carol Moseley, by his side. He had fought cancer for a few years but ultimately succumbed to it. Bernie is preceded in death by his (parents) Lyle and Kathryn, (first wife) Linda Ortiz, (daughter) Laura Jobe, and brothers David and Gary Moseley.

He is survived by his son Scott (Patty) Moseley, and sisters, Diane (Pat) Van Acker and Debbie Kean. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Bernie graduated from Rocky High School and went into the Army during Vietnam. He retired from Ruan transport after 30 years of driving. He then attended Scott Community College and received his degree in Diesel Engineering. He eventually retired from the Quad City metropolitan bus barn as a Diesel mechanic.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Dec 19th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2810 5th Avenue, Rock Island IL. Private burial will be held at a later date.
