Betty J. Conway

January 10, 1929-June 3, 2022

DAVENPORT-Betty J. Conway, age 93, of Davenport, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be from 1:00 until time of service at church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Betty was born on January 10, 1929 in Melrose, IA, to Dan and Mary (Comer) Scieszinski. She was united in marriage to Edward Conway on May 20, 1950 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1995.

Betty was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo as well as bridge with her numerous clubs.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Amanda Conway; grandson, Brett Conway, great-granddaughter, Milena; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey and Tim; sister, Donna Benson; and brothers, Jack and Jim Scieszinski.
