BETTENDORF-Chelsey Ann Cheek, 27, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. Memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Memorials may be made in her honor to the Epilepsy Foundation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Chelsey was born July 25, 1994 to Michael Cheek and Rachel Scheper in Davenport, IA. She was a 2013 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School.
Chelsey was a selfless, giving person her entire life. Her last gift, being an organ donor and giving the gift of life to others. She loved music and fishing, but most of all she cherished spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly loved and missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Rachel Scheper; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Rose Scheper; paternal grandparents, Larry and Norma Cheek; great grandmothers, Nona Scheper and Frances Jones; boyfriend, Brian Hamaker; and special friends, Mike and Pam Hamaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Cheek; grandmother, Audrey Dalchow; and great grandfathers, LeRoy Scheper and Marvin Jones.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at the University of Iowa Hospital for their exceptional love and care.

She was the most entertaining, silly fun girl at Pleasant View. I loved working with her, always put a smile on my face and made my day! Prayers to the family for loosing such a blessed young spirited child of God.
