June 6, 1949-July 9, 2022

ROBINS-Claire L. Wiese, 73, a resident of Robins, Iowa, died Saturday, July 9, 2022 at her home.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.

Claire was born June 6, 1949 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Keith and Elizabeth Anderson. She graduated from Elko High School in Elko, Nevada in 1967. She married William Wiese in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 20, 1970.

After raising her children, Claire worked in the distribution center for VonMaur in Davenport. She enjoyed baking, fishing, camping, and finding a good deal at garage sales. She enjoyed her family, especially attending her grandchildren's events. Claire also loved her dogs.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Bill; son, Greg (Stefanie) Wiese of Marion, Iowa; grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Aaron, Syler, and Sarah; siblings, Myra Rounsevell, Neil Anderson, Nancy Kubicki, and Paul Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Craig.
