Cory Ringier Obituary
March 21, 1977 - September 17, 2025
Cory "Car" A. Ringier, age 48, of Moline, will be celebrated for the laughter he brought to our lives following his passing on September 17, 2025. Cory, born on March 21, 1977, in Silvis, Ill., was a loving father, rock star brother, and cherished friend who lived life to the fullest, sharing his passion for sports, family, and fun.
A memorial service will be held to honor Cory at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 201 E. 4th Avenue in Milan, Ill. Family and friends will come together for visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the same venue. In a spirit of celebration, the family encourages all attendees to wear their favorite sports attire-reflecting Cory's vibrant personality and love for his favorite teams, including the Celtics, Cubs, Hawkeyes, Duke, and the Bucs.
As a proud bowling enthusiast, Cory spent countless hours enjoying the sport he loved, famously achieving a perfect 300 game and an impressive 846 series, proving his dedication. Whether he was watching a game or hanging out with friends and family, a cold beer in hand and music playing, Cory's laughter and love of life will be fondly remembered.
Cory is survived by his beautiful children, Kelsey (Tyler) Delarosa, Blake (Gabby Fuentes) Ringier, Ashton Ringier, and Shelby Ringier; his parents, John and Kristine Huston Ringier; and his devoted siblings, Michelle (Chris) Soy, Larry Ringier, and David (Nicole) Ringier. Additionally, he leaves behind and was surrounded by the love of many extended family members, including cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his special friends, Stan and Amy Anthony and Donny Houseman and Krista Wright.
Memorial contributions can be made in care of "Bowling for Boobies," supporting breast cancer awareness.
