Dennis Eudaley Obituary
March 14, 1947 - February 8, 2025
Dennis J. Eudaley, 77, of LeClaire, IA, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at his home.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 12 p.m., on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Eldridge United Methodist Church in Eldridge, with a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A light meal will follow. Memorials may be made to Eldridge United Methodist Church or to the Gary Sinese Foundation.
Dennis was born March 14, 1947, in Dubuque, IA, the son of Gerald and Donna (Wagner) Kuchemann. He graduated from Galena High School in 1965. He was united in marriage to Donna Wieters on December 26, 1966, in Galena, IL. She preceded him in death on February 12, 2024.
Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army Signal Corps and honorably discharged in September of 1969. After 28 years, he retired from John Deere where he had been employed with the Construction and Forestry training center. In his earlier years, you could find him most weekends racing his '59 Chevy Biscayne at Cordova Drag Strip. He enjoyed volunteering with the Park View Jaycees and entertaining friends with their Air Band. After retiring he and Donna enjoyed fishing, road tripping across the country and gambling at the local casinos, where he became a master at video poker. He was a beloved member of the Eldridge United Methodist Church, where he held leadership positions for many years.
Dennis was known for his sharp wit, storytelling, and a heart full of love for his family, especially his grandkids, Jo and Chaz.
We find comfort knowing that Dennis is now at peace, reunited with his loving wife, Donna. Those left to honor his memory include his daughter and son-in-law, Ticia and Clint Balsar of Eldridge; his grandchildren, Charlie Balsar and Jordan Jones; his sisters, Lana (Bill) Diskin of Florida and Geri (Jim) Wieters of Wisconsin; and his brother, Tom (Julie) Kuchemann of Georgia, as well as many nieces and nephews who adored him.
In addition to Donna, Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Wendy Hamilton.
