After his retirement, he moved to Apache Junction, Arizona and lived there until his death. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling, watching westerns and spending time with Diane listening and dancing to music. Don was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and he never missed a game. He especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren watching them play sports and numerous other activities.
Besides his children and grandchildren, Don is survived by his brother Robert (Maria) Phelps and his niece Bernadette Burke. There are numerous cousins and second cousins, from both the Phelps and Glodoski sides of the family. Don is also survived by a special friend Diane Chiovatero of Mesa, Arizona.

I used to play softball with Don at the Davenport Moose Club 40+ years ago. He was a good guy; always laughing and smiling. I didn´t know he´d moved so close or I´d have looked him up. Prayers for the family. RIP, Don.
