MILAN-Fredrick C. Hurley, 93, of Milan, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at his home. Private graveside services will be held at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Fred was born on July 26, 1928 in Rock Island, a son of Charles and Mabel (McConnell) Hurley. He married Sidney Johnson on April 9, 1950. She preceded him in death. Fred had worked as a cement finisher. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Milan.

Survivors include his children, Janis Perryman, Houston, Missouri, and a son, Dennis Hurley, Moline; seven grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sidney; son, Bruce; son in law, Joe Perryman; and brothers, Tom Leingang and Robert Leingang.
