I knew Shorty as a friend and client since the 1970s. What a personality! What a smile! We last saw each other a few years ago when I was officiating a wedding and he was playing Mariachi for the wedding. He ran across the room and gave me a big abrazo and a kiss on the cheek. My condolences to his family. May his memory be a blessing always.
