Jacqueline "Jackie" Deanna Fritz, 64, of Davenport, died Sunday, November 10, 2024, in her home. Keeping with her wishes, cremation rites have taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Jackie was born on September 20, 1960, in Davenport, the daughter of Elmer and Vera (Gundaker) Fritz. She graduated from West High School and attended barber college.
Jackie bartended at the Meat Market for over 25 years. She was a staple of the Westend and never met a stranger. If you knew her, you know she loved the sun and could always be found at her pool; often hosting friends and family for large cookouts and drinks.
Her hobbies included traveling to tropical locations, gardening, Harley Davidson, and concrete staining over the years. She enjoyed home improvement projects and the Cubs.
Those left to honor her memory are her daughters: Chelsie (Joshua) Ewing, Chattanooga, Tenn. and Rachel Sorgenfrey, Moline; grandchildren: Sylas and Kai Ewing; and brothers: Ron and Greg Fritz, both of Davenport.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Richard, Dan, David, and Phillip. May they rest in peace.
