ANAMOSA, IA-On Monday, June 29, 2020, Jason Miller, loving father of two children passed away at the age of 42.
Jason was born to Larry and Sheryll Miller on March 10, 1978 in Anamosa, IA. He was preceded in death by his father Larry C. Miller. He is survived by his mother, Sheryll Miller, daughters Molly and Madelyn Miller, sister Lyssa Hartley (Chris Hartley), brother Larry D. Miller, two nieces and a nephew as well as aunts and uncles. He will be deeply missed by many good friends including Dan Montegna who was like a second dad to him.
His greatest joy and passion came in being a dad to his two girls whom he loved dearly. He was also a talented mechanic who enjoyed working on motorcycles. Jason was well known among friends and family for his sharp wit and was always quick with a joke and a sly smile.

I stopped at the makeshift memorial that i see daily in my route to the Motorcycle shop today, Chatted with you a bit, wished you were still here today. I see that spot everyday, rather see you Miller. Doesn't get any easier. Til we meet again!

when I was told that you left us, I couldn't believe it and didnt want to believe it, I just had saw you a couple of hours prior, we have known each other for a little while and in that time you became my brother, when I needed help or even our talks you never hesitated to be there, we would tease each other every chance we got, you being my brat and me your mule, my heart aches, everytime I hear a motorcycle outside my door or look across the street to your moms house I would look to see if it was you. you loved surprising your mom and I loved seeing the smile on your face when you surprised her. my heart also aches for your daughters they were your world, you were a wonderful son, father, brother and friend, I know my buddy (Larry) was waiting for you with open arms, til we meet again my brother, love you and you will always have a place in my heart.

I remember sitting in him 2 days before everything happened and we were having a little bet about who has the higher snap-on bill my dad (Jason montegna) or Miller. And well of course Miller won. But he was a good dad and a good friend/brother to my dad. Rest easy Jason.

MILLER...Going to be a tough one getting this to pass. Ive known Jason for over 20 yrs. We did alot together and with others in the motorcycle world. Many of nights at my shop getting the most out of many of his motorcycles, and him helping me as well for the same. Its a terrible tragedy to loose a close friend, hurts more when you share the same interests in life...motorcycles...family...and kids. You will be missed old friend. Until we meet again! TUT
