Judy Wilcke Obituary

Judy L. Wilcke, 82, of Walcott, Iowa, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Calvary Church of Walcott. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will take place in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Calvary Church of Walcott in her memory. Online condolences may be left at www.bentleyfuneralhome.com.
Judy was born on May 16, 1942, the daughter of Horace and Louise (Thompson) Fairchild in Elkhorn, Wis. She graduated from University High School in Iowa City, with the Class of 1960. After graduation, Judy attended Paris Academy Cosmetology School in Cedar Rapids. Judy married David Morgan on June 1, 1963, in Davenport. David passed away on October 25, 2009. She later married Dr. Kenneth M. Wilcke on May 16, 2012, in Walcott. He passed away on May 23, 2014.
Judy was the proud owner and operator of Accent on Beauty in Davenport and The Hair Clinic in Iowa City. Her artistic talents also extended into floral arranging, where she created beautiful arrangements at Flowers by Frederick and Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. A woman of strong faith, Judy was a devoted member of Calvary United Church of Walcott. Judy was also a founding member of the American Business Women's Association in Iowa City. Her warmth, kindness, and artistic spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Judy will be dearly missed by her three children, Brett (Miki) Morgan of Eldridge, Iowa, Jack (Shani) Morgan of Marion, Iowa, and Mickie (Chuck) Dozier of Colleyville, Texas; nine grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; one sister, Barbara Fairchild; and one brother, Ron Fairchild.
