Karen Jeanne Ratliff

May 6, 1950 - August 17, 2025

Karen Jeanne Ratliff, 75, of Lone Tree, formerly of Davenport, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at her home in Lone Tree.

Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in the Lone Tree Cemetery. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Lone Tree is caring for Karen's family and arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www. sandhfuneralservice.com

Karen Jeanne Smith was born on May 6, 1950, in Evanston, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence Frederick and Lovah Jeanne (Trickett) Smith. She worked as an administrative office clerk. Karen enjoyed sewing, quilting, her dog, Sam and spending time with Ron and her family.

Karen will be deeply missed by her companion, Ron Flake Sr. of Lone Tree; children, David Emory Ratliff of Buffalo and Amy Rebecca Winters and her husband, Christopher, of Hampton, Illinois; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gary Eugene Smith and his wife, Jorie, of Arvada, Colorado.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bradley Frederick Smith.

She was fun to be around, soft spoken, & very kind.
