Kay Arlene McCollam, 87, of Davenport, passed away, Monday, October 16, 2023, at Jersey Ridge Place.
Per her request, cremation rites will occur and there will be no services.

Kay was born May 31, 1936, in Pekin, IL. She was the daughter of Colby and Charlotte (Hayes) Konisek. She married Raymond McCollam on March 12, 1988. He passed away on March 4, 2016. She worked at Sindt's Grill from 1970 until 1977, and went on to be a manager at Venture Department Store for many years before returning to Sindt's from where she retired. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo and euchre, jigsaw puzzles and reading.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Fred (Peggy) Nolte; daughter, Dorla (Bob) Smith; son-in-law, Jack Escamilla; stepchildren: Craig (Sharon) McCollam, Nancy (Chip) Wells and Chris McCollam; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and dear friend, Terry Harnden.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kay was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Escamilla, and a sister, Dorla Talbott.
