DAVENPORT-Loretta M. Roenfeldt, 95, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in the comfort of her own home. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials made be made to Good Samaritan Home Services. Loretta was born on October 11, 1926 to William and Hazel (Jones) Peel in Slater, MO. On March 17, 1946 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth Roenfeldt in Davenport, IA.
Loretta was a retired seamstress and also retired from Von Maur. She loved to crochet baby blankets for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a giving, kind and Christian woman, who loved to watch old westerns, her favorite was Bonanza.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Lori Wouters, Richard (Judith) Roenfeldt, Sandi (Steve) Winter and Scott (Sandy) Roenfeldt; along with 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Michael; son-in-law, David Wouters.
The family would like to express overwhelming gratitude to Dr. Erinn Ayres and her nurse Jodi, Illini Infusion Center, and Genesis Hospice for their compassionate care of Loretta.

Mrs Roenfeldt you where one hard working women and did an awesome job raising the kids by yourself. I looked to as a second mom. I remember when you worked in the cataloged department at JC Penny and driving us kids to the skating rink. Mrs. Roenfeldt you need a plaque for a job well done. RIP. love you!
