Mabel Consuelo Barba, 43, a resident of Lafayette, Indiana, formerly of Davenport, passed away Sunday morning, December 5, 2021 at her home.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.
Mabel was born June 20, 1978 in Davenport, the daughter of Dwayne Faust and Sylvia Diaz. Mabel worked as a medical assistant for Community Health Center in East Moline. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, watching Law & Order, Chicago P.D. and Grey's Anatomy. Mabel loved her job and gathering with her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Marco Barba, Jr., Angel Barba, Nayeli Barba, and Adrian Barba, all of Lafayette, Indiana; grandchildren, Silas and Marco III; mother, Sylvia Diaz of Rock Island; father, Dwayne Faust of Davenport; siblings, Sylvia, Jaime, and Luciano; aunts and uncles, Olga Miller, Susanna Nuci, Jesus Diaz, and Cesar Diaz; and Lisa Beserra, someone special to Mabel.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Milo.
