At a very rough time in my life I took my 2 babies in to see Dr.Omar. While he was the kindest man ever my boys where not able to see him regularly due to our insurance. But in our one appointment he was so kind to me and gentle with my boys. My then 2 year old kept messing with stuff and he was so calm...I left his office feeling happier then when I arrived. To the Omar family I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the countless lives Dr.Omar touched. May Allah bless you and your family. Mrs.Omar I pray Allah blesses you infinitely and carries you thru this rough time.

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Omar´s family and friends. We have been so blessed to have Dr. Omar take care of all three of our girls. I have never met a kinder or more gentle man. I am so grateful for all of the times he has taken care of our girls. When they were babies and I´d take them in for their well check he would talk to them and tell them how wonderful they were doing no matter how little they were. I loved how he would so carefully fold and tuck their diapers. The world is a better place because of him.

Dr.Omar became our pediatrician when my daughter was born. He was our pediatrician at the hospital (12 years ago) and from then on. He would always listen carefully to what my concerns were, ask questions, examine my kiddos, speak directly to them, then always gave instructions like this...."What I want you to do is....ok mom?! Do you have any questions for me? And if anything changes or you have any concerns you call ok mom?!" He made those words have so much importance to a mom with a sick kid. I always knew he cared, had a plan, listened and validated my concerns. He will be missed but his legacy continues. Thinking of all of you who are closest to him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Omar after I had my youngest daughter 23 years ago. He was He truly was a wonderful soul and excellent physician. So rewind about 13 years ago, my oldest daughter had my first grandson and I told her " see if Dr. Omar is taking new patients ." In which he was and that continued our relationship . So fast forward to now and 3 more grandchildren later (in which) Dr Omar had them all as patients. I can truly say I never felt like that they where just patients to him. My condolences and prayers are extended to all the family and friends

My condolences to the family of Dr Omar. My niece´s son was a patient of Dr Omar and said he got them on the right track with the special care their son required and was as concerned for their welfare as much as their son´s. The world needs more doctors like Dr Omar. Rest in peace Dr Omar.
