Michael Joseph VanCamp
February 16, 1941 – May 27, 2024
Michael Joseph Vancamp, born on February 16, 1941, in Davenport, peacefully passed away early the morning of May 27, 2024. He was 83 years old.
Michael, a resident of Joshua Tree, CA, was a man who appreciated the simple pleasures in life. Michael was a "Holy Roller" as his son would call him. He proved how a relationship with the Lord Our God should be. He had a deep admiration for the music of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, finding solace and joy in the timeless melodies.
Above all, Michael cherished the love of his life, Suzi. Their bond was unwavering, and their connection brought immeasurable happiness to both their lives. Together, they navigated through the ups and downs, offering support and creating a lifetime of cherished memories and now they are back together.
Michael will be remembered for his gentle demeanor, genuine kindness, and warm smile that touched the hearts of all those who knew him.
In honor of his memory, a memorial service will be held for family, friends, and will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend the onsite service. The service will be June 29, 2024, 11:00a.m. at St. Mary of the Valley 7495 Church St. Yucca Valley Ca. With a gathering directly after at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a donation fund for the funeral costs, church and several other charities he belonged to. The total donated shall be divided equally and disbursed. Please email his son Michael James at [email protected] for details.
May Michael Joseph VanCamp rest in eternal peace, forever surrounded by God, Suzi and the melodies that brought him joy in life.
