Nancy Ann Moore

Nancy Ann Moore, 79, Phoenix, AZ passed away on February 5th 2021 at Chandler Hospital in AZ. Per to her wishes, cremation rites will be accorder. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Nancy was born November 16th 1941 in Davenport, IA daughter of Earl and Ruth (Wagg) Owens. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1960. She married Keith Fabricius in 1965 who passed away from Pneumonia two weeks after a kidney transplant in 1971. In 1973 she moved to Hayward CA for a number of years and loved every minute of it. Her favorite job was when she went to work for Hexcel Corp. in 1985 where she worked on the secret B2 Stealth Bomber. Hexcel transferred her to AZ in 1992 where she continued to work on the Bomber. She married William Moore in 1996 who she met in CA and they were married for 24 years. Nancy was a great cook and they both loved to entertain and host many parties.
Nancy had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and sing. The best trip she ever took was a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land and wrote a diary of her trip. She was always ready to discover new places and loved to plan trips with family and friends. She was very adventurous, tried scuba diving, hot air ballooning, danced on stage in Jerusalem, rode a camel on the West Bank and modeled the first mini skirt in Davenport, IA for the newspaper. She enjoyed oil painting and painted something for everyone she knew. Some were shown in Art Galleries in AZ. She also enjoyed working on Genealogy for her family and writing poems. Nancy had no children, but considered her nephew Brent, who came to live with her and Keith, her only child. She was loved by many and had special relationships with all her family and friends, she will be dearly missed.
Those left to Cherish her Memory include her Husband William Moore, Nieces and Nephews: Cindy (Geoff) Soltau, Micky Owens, Randy (Debi) Owens, Ange (John) Mealy, Elizabeth Owens, Jenny (Mike) Dooley, Joey Kincaid, 9 Great-Nephews, 2 Great-Nieces & 1 Great-Great Niece, Cousin Jerry (Elaine) Diller, BF of 65 yrs Karen Guffy & Linda Mumm.
Nancy was proceeded in death by her Father Earl Owens, Mother Ruth Owens Roscoe, Step-Father Bill Roscoe, Step-Sister Barbara Roscoe, First Husband Keith Fabricius, Brothers Gary & DeWayne Owens, Sister-in-law Lil Owens, Nephews Brent Owens & Craig Kincaid

Micky & Family,
I´m so sorry to learn of the loss of your Aunt Nancy. I´ll always remember her full-on laugh and her way of always speaking her mind; both admirable traits.
