Norman Freeman

April 26, 1955 - September 30, 2025

Norman N. Freeman, 70, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the Aspire in Pleasant Valley.

Services will be held 2 pm, Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory. The family will greet friends from 12 pm to 2 pm. Cremation will follow the service. Please share condolences with the family at www.rungemortuary.com.

Norm was born April 26, 1955, in Osterburg, Germany to Nathan and Maria (Hoffer) Freeman.

Stormin Norman had been a CDL Driver for over 30 years as an owner operator and retired from Rolling Oats LTD in Muscatine 2004.

Norman enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, fishing, and watching action and crime shows. He was very sociable person and loved to share stories. His family was very important to him, especially his grand and great grandchildren.

Surviving Norman are his four daughters, Angela (Christopher) Freeman-McAfee, Dominique Hodges, Albre (Dasmond) Carter, and Melony Frost; son, Wade Freeman; additional children, Larissa, Tasha, and Janina; grandchildren, maria, Domani, Lilly, Izabellah, Anthony, Luna, Brooklyn, and one other grandson.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents; two great-grandchildren, James Hodges and Anahi Freeman Galvan; and two siblings, Gerhart Hoffer-Freeman and Elizabeth Hoffer.
