LONG GROVE-Patricia "Pat" S. Hoffmann, 61, of Long Grove, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City.
Private family services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Eldridge. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday at the Eldridge Community Center. Memorials may be directed to the family. Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge is assisting the family with arrangements.
Pat was born on September 3, 1960 in Davenport. She graduated from North Scott High School, class of 1978. On August 30, 1985, she was united in marriage to David W. Hoffmann at Faith Lutheran Church. Pat worked as an office manager at White Roofing Company, Eldridge for the past 42 years. She was a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and also "Pitiful Sisters", a group comprised of her lifelong best friends. Pat was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. She enjoyed reading and entertaining at her pool parties. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Dave Hoffmann of Long Grove; daughters, Meghan (Mike) Gianatasio of Plainfield, Illinois, Mallory (Nate) Schmitt of Davenport, Melissa (Kevin) Sullivan of Washington, Illinois; grandchildren, Jaden Schmitt, Avery and Brixton Sullivan; mother, Judi (Donald) Hamann of Eldridge; father, Jere Martin of Long Grove; siblings, Lyn (Diane) Hamann of Sanford, Florida, Susan Hamann of Davenport, Teresa (Gene Meumann) Herberg of Eldridge, Marji (Mike) Szwaya of Naperville, Illinois, Michelle (Rich) Hanson of DeWitt, Brent (Lisa) Martin of Davenport; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dog, Lola.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Scott Martin.
