Refa Hollon, 70, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis, Davenport. Per her request cremation will be accorded. Memorials may be donated to your local animal shelter.
Refa Kay Williams was born September 12, 1954, in Davenport, the only daughter of Everett and Eleanor (Barth) Williams.
She had worked in the accounting department for the former Eagles Warehouse and then O'Rourke Sales from which she retired in 2023.
Refa was an animal lover, especially dogs and horses. She learned to ride at an early age and showed quarter horses locally at the Mississippi Vally Fairgrounds and across the USA for almost 30 years, winning multiple 1st Place Awards.
Survivors include her brother, Ronald (Gloria) Williams of Davenport; sister-in-law, Candy Williams of Davenport; nieces and nephews, Scott (Teresa) Williams of Davenport, Heather (Bryan) Behning of Calamus, Kenlyn Crouch of Milan, Kevin (Brandi) Williams of Bettendorf; several great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog "Cowboy".
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth.
Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family.
