Richard Seybert Obituary

Richard "Rick" Seybert

June 18, 1965 - August 23, 2025

Richard "Rick" Seybert, 60, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away suddenly on the morning of Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Roanoke, Va.

Rick enjoyed cycling, especially RAGBRAI, which he participated in for many years. He also enjoyed golf, hiking and camping. He graduated from Wichita State University where he played lacrosse and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

Rick made friends easily and kept them for a lifetime. He never knew a stranger, always striking up a conversation with a smile on his face. Rick had 33 successful years in the cement industry in commercial sales.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Julie; his children, Ryan, Molly and Luke; parents, Ken and Cathy Seybert; brothers, Mike Seybert (Ann) and Sam Seybert (Angela); and by friends and family everywhere.

No services will be held. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.Oakeys.com.
