Tyler J.L. Snyder
July 24, 2002-December 21, 2022
MOLINE-Tyler J.L. Snyder, 20, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022, as a result of an automobile accident.
Services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Tyler Snyder Memorial Fund.
Tyler Jeffrey Lee Snyder was born July 24, 2002, in Silvis, Illinois, the son of Joshua and Marcy (Bunnell) Snyder. He graduated from Moline High School in 2020.
He loved playing sports: he was a talented catcher for the Barnstormers, Moline American Legion and Moline High School baseball teams; he was skilled at football, playing linebacker for Moline High School; and he enjoyed playing basketball with his brother and friends (although he wasn't quite as good as he thought he was).
Tyler adored his long-time girlfriend, Anika Pfeifer, and loved spending time with her. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan, which meant he was able to gloat over the Bears fans in his family (most of the time). Above all else, Tyler was simply a genuine, easy-going guy. He enjoyed being with his friends and family and would do anything for them.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Marcy Snyder of Moline, and Josh (Debbie Larson) Snyder of Buckeye, Arizona; his brothers, Gage Snyder and Dennis Davidson; grandparents, Dennis and Rita Bunnell of Moline, Kathy Franks of Moline, and Jeff and Tina Snyder of Rock Island; the love of his life, Anika Pfeifer; uncles, Jimmy (Jania) Lawson, Travis (Morgan) Lawson, Jamie Snyder, and Brandon Comins; his God-mother, Kasey (Kassandra Walters) Newton. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Phillips.
