John Cullen Obituary

John Cullen Jr. John Cullen Jr. age 84, passed away on Christmas Eve in the Littlefork Nursing Home. Junior was born and raised in International Falls and graduated from Falls High School in 1956. Junior enjoyed life to the fullest and he enjoyed a variety of work careers including 20+ years at Mando (Boise Cascade) paper mill. Local 563 union ironworker and owning and operating his own garbage service. He retired at age 55. Junior was very adventurous and thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. His passion for the outdoors included many years of gardening. His adventurous life included being a bush pilot for many years. Junior thoroughly enjoyed being with good friends, family, lots of stories, playing cards and maybe a pint of beer (or 2). Junior is survived by the love of his life Sandy (Dilworth). They were married 45 years. Other survivors include brothers Terry Cullen (Beverly), Tim Cullen, (Kathie)and sister Kathleen (Paul) Thomsen, Sister-in-law Georgia (Dan) Erdman, nephews Tommy and Tyler Weir and lots more nieces and nephews who absolutely loved being with Uncle Jr. (And he with them.) The memories of the sheep Ranch Road shack and lessons learned will be embedded forever. Junior was proceeded in death by parents John and Nellie Cullen, and Brothers Pat, Dan, and Larry Cullen. A celebration of life will be held this summer on the ground that he loved (His home). Condolences may be left on www.greenlarsen.com Arrangements are with Green-Larsen Mortuary, Inc.
