THOMAS LYNN ECK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Lynn Eck, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on February 20, 2026, in his lifelong hometown of International Falls, Minnesota. Born on October 28, 1946, Thomas was a proud paper maker at Boise Cascade, where he dedicated many years of his life to the paper mill and the community. Thomas was married to his cherished wife, Paulette Kihlstadius, for many wonderful years, and together they built a loving home in International Falls. They raised two daughters, Kimberly and Angela, instilling in them the values of kindness, hard work, and the importance of family. Thomas took immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories through laughter, stories, and shared adventures. He found solace in the beauty of nature, often enjoying the wildlife that graced his backyard. A man of connection, Thomas cherished his friendships and kept in touch with family near and far, often using social media to bring smiles and maintain bonds. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paulette, his parents, and two brothers. He leaves behind his daughters, Kimberly and Angela and four adoring grandchildren, who will miss him dearly. In celebration of Thomas's life, a memorial service will be held at Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The family invites all who knew and loved Thomas to join them in reflecting on the memories and joy he brought into their lives. Following the service, a private family burial will take place. We encourage everyone to share their love and memories, as Thomas would have wanted us all to feel connected, just as he did throughout his life.
