Darlinda passed away early in the morning of August 6, with her family by her side at her home in Ramona.She was born in Indio, CA to John Darle and Wenoka Basham Amos (deceased), and graduated from Redlands High School, class of 1957. She worked at several telephone companies in Palm Springs and Chula Vista. In the mid-1980's, Darlinda ran a wholesale business in National City as president and owner until her retirement in 1999. She then moved to Ramona in 2000. She volunteered at Kaiser Permanente in the San Marcos Clinic for 5 years until it became physically too difficult. Darlinda and Ronald Erbland were married October 18, 1975 in Las Vegas, NV. They have two sons, John (JennIfer) and Joseph (Tiffany), and three grandchildren, Rachel, James and Jacob that she loved dearly.Darlinda loved children and she could not pass up a baby without greeting them. She loved to travel until physical problems made it impractical. In recent years she still enjoyed one night out a week for dinner and a few penny slots.A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on September 25, 2021 at Spirit Of Joy Lutheran Church, 1735 Main Street Ramona, following the service a reception will be held at the Erbland residence in Ramona. Interment will be at Miramar National Cemetery on October 15, 2021 at 1:30 PM.In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
