It´s been almost five months and still reflecting on my Dad´s beautiful life. I only now appreciate how he was dedicated to helping others until his last breath.

Please accept our deepest sympathy especially to my cousin Joanne for the loss of her husband Bob and to the entire Arellanes family, close friends, and associates that share so many memories of him during the past several years. For sure, he will be missed by all.

Blessings to the family, especially JoAnn and Lisa. I have fond memories of working with Bob and Lisa at Sac State in 1994, 1995 until Bob retired and Lisa went off to Harvard. Generous and genuine man who cared about education.

Bob was a true friend and colleague as well as a delightful traveler. I will miss him, his sense of humor and his compassion for the underprivileged of this world. His positive outlook on life was a blessing to his friends and especially to me.

My deepest sympathies to the Arellanes family. I was honored to have known Mr Arellanes since I was around 10 and he was an important part of not only myself but many youth in the Sacramento area. Because of that he helped create a thriving soccer community from birth. His Intelligence, passion and vision were clear to all that met him. But most important...he always had a smile and a kind thing to say. Ill miss him. "To the flag"
