Dr.Dalessio was a lovely person, a marvelous clinician and a great Democrat. He helped patients who suffer from migraine, an elusive and debilitating condition, and his recommendations actually improved lives. We will miss him. Condolences to his family.

Knew Don, from my earliest days in Headache Medicine. Truly an outstanding clinician in every aspect and I learned greatly from our limited time together. Beyond all of the professional accolades he received and deserved, he was the nicest person I have ever met in my career. Years ago at a Diamond meeting he entranced my oldest daughter who was probably not more than 5 or 6 with how he could play the piano. After hearing him, she wanted to be able to play piano like that for friends and self. She still remembers that encounter. To his family my thanks for having shared him with us. SDG, Fred Freitag
