Kerry McReynolds Obituary

"She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings."
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kerry Susan McReynolds, of La Jolla, CA. Kerry succumbed to her long hard-fought battle with cancer at the age of 50 on Feb 9, 2022.
Kerry leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her family and friends who were always enamored by her brilliant sense of humor, her quick wit, her thoughtfulness and her tremendous kindness. She was an instant friend to many and brightened every room with her smile and infectious energy.
Kerry was the ultimate cool girl whose love of the Rolling Stones and good music was unparalleled. She was a yoga enthusiast, Charger fan and of course she had a tremendous sense of style. Kerry always loved fashion and was in high-end retail for numerous years. She owned a boutique named Sorella for many years in Little Italy San Diego.
Kerry also loved to travel and was always excited for an adventure. Among her international travel destinations were Mexico, Greece, Brazil, Thailand, Bali and Costa Rica, to name a few.
Every moment spent with Kerry will be cherished by all of those who knew her. She will be incredibly missed but in our hearts forever. She is truly unforgettable.
Kerry is survived by her mother Judy, brother Mark, sister Tracy Clune, her father Dr. Donley McReynolds and his wife Maureen, half brother Ryan, half sister Jenny Billard, nephews Desmond and Liam Clune, nephew Oren Billard, niece Ione Billard and all of her dear friends and relatives.

It´s been 2 years since you gained your wings. I am watching BD and saw your episode. Your positivity is so inspiring. I was so sad to hear about the passing of Kerry. I did not know her personally but saw her as a charter guest on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Her strength and courage touched my heart. Sending many prayers for her family and friends.

Watching her now on below deck. First time I saw her on the show, her positive energy and zest for life both inspired me and made me question why the good ones in life are dealt this hand. I´d look for info on Kerry over the years because she always crossed my mind. Looked again this morning and saw this information. My condolences to all who continue to love and celebrate her everyday. She impacted so many ppl, a stranger like me included. Sending big prayers for Kerry and her family. Such a phenomenal woman!
