Brenda Louise Finley

September 16, 1954 - January 13, 2025

Brenda Louise (Brage, Brenden) Finley, age 70, passed away peacefully at Monument Health in Rapid City, SD, on January 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with COPD.

Brenda was the beloved daughter of Gerald and Louise (Brage/Raderschadt). The youngest of five siblings, Brenda shared a special bond with her siblings Leslie, Robert, Steven, and Linda.

Brenda graduated from Harmony Hill High School, Watertown, SD after having grown up on a farm in Castlewood, SD. Her parents purchased and operated Brage's Bar and Liquor store in Kranzburg, SD and she lived there through her teens.

Brenda married Steven Brenden in Watertown, and together they welcomed, and she is survived by three children, Christopher, Kara, and Robert. She was also the proud and fiercely supportive grandmother of Oceanna, Aries, Hanna, Orion, Carter, and Emma. Brenda's unwavering love and dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

Brenda worked diligently throughout her life. She managed apartment complexes in Spearfish, Sturgis, and Huron, as well as casinos in Rapid City. During her years working as a manager where she achieved many accomplishments.

Brenda will be remembered by her family and friends as someone who was independent, strong willed, caring, compassionate, bluntly honest, and an all-around genuine person. Brenda played a huge role in the daily lives of those around her. Not one day has gone by that you weren't loved and missed by all of us! Angels on your pillow.

A celebration of Brenda's life will be held by her family on Sunday, May 18th, 2025 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., at Chris and Lynn's house. All are welcome to join.

Thank you everyone for the kind words! The family wants everyone to know that the celebration of life will be held at the Comfort Inn on Rapp at the same time tomorrow. Due to weather we have moved venues. Thank you all again!
