RED SHIRT - Delores Labelle Two Bulls, Wambli Ska Win (White Eagle Woman), 75, Red Shirt, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with breast cancer.

Born in the Drywood district of the Pine Ridge Reservation, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ten Fingers Sr. (Oglala Lakota) and Emma Gillispie Ten Fingers (Northern Cheyenne, Irish). While she and Father Bob served in churches in Pine Ridge, Rapid City, Eagle Butte, and White Rocks, Utah, and were involved in the church at the national level, home was always Christ Church, Red Shirt Table. At Christ Church she was Treasurer, head of the Altar Guild and led the efforts in singing Lakota Hymns which she loved. Delores was devotedly involved in all aspects of ministry to her church and her community. She served Red Shirt as its treasurer and worked in support of the elders in the community. Delores was devoted to her close-knit family, enjoying all family gatherings, traveling to visit, and celebrating holidays together.

Kola Bob & family;
My daily prayers are with you all for God's healing comfort. I have begun to fill the emptiness in my life, with Mary gone. I found strength in the prayer "knowing that you are doing greater things that I can desire or pray for", a greater eternal life far beyond our human understanding. I also want to pass on the lakota word Bliheciyayo!! Grasp your inner strength to get you through these dark days and God's ultimate love will do the rest for you.
