Janice Eicher Obituary

CHADRON, Neb. - Janice M. Eicher, 65, formerly of Rapid City, died Sunday, January 18, 2004 at her home in Chadron, Nebraska three weeks after receiving a diagnosis of lung cancer. She was born Janice M. O'Connell on October 1, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Lutheran High School in St. Louis, Janice obtained her degree as a Registered Nurse. In 1958 she married (The Rev.) Robert E. Eicher, who passed away in 1995. Janice is survived by her sons, Ben and Chris Eicher of Rapid City, daughter Katrina Eicher of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and three grandchildren, as well as a sister, Colleen Saitz of St. Louis. Arrangements are through Chamberlain Funeral Home of Chadron, with the funeral scheduled for Thursday, January 22 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chadron.

Dearest Family of Janet Eichler, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember so many happy times at your home, and your Mom was always such an integral part of making me feel like part of your family. May God bless her soul and take her directly to heaven with Him.
