I have not known Jerry for more than a few years BUT I do know that he had a kind heart & sweet soul. He was a great friend not only to myself but to my 3 children (who called him uncle Jerry). He was set in his ways & kinda kept to himself but what a great guy!!! He was always there when you needed something and he ALWAYS had a good joke to put a smile on your face!! I am grateful to have called him my friend!!

My very fond memory of Jerry was when I had hit a deer in the early hours of a winter morning and he was the first to line up a flat bed and transportation for me to get to work. It was not needed, but it definitely showed his compassionate side.
