Jerry Smedshammer Obituary

Jerry Matthew Smedshammer

June 11, 1942 - December 16, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jerry Smedshammer. He lived a fulfilling life and was cherished by many for his warm, witty, and caring personality. His presence and aura will surely be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his loving spouse, Linda Smedshammer. Jerry's teachings that "work comes before play" and values of kindness and compassion will continue to live on through those he left behind.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Loyal Order of Moose.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help with funeral expenses. Those wishing to contribute may do so at https://everloved.com/life-of. We thank you for your support during this difficult time.

I spent many a Saturday morning with Jerry, horses, and my handicapped daughter in Pringle. I have nothing but good things to say about that very kind and decent man... He loved serving and teaching disabled adults and children... I am so sorry for his passing. Kim Henningsen
