Terry Schomberg Obituary

RAPID CITY - Terry L. Schomberg, 58, Rapid City, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army from October 1966 to October 1969. Survivors include his wife, Carol Schomberg, Rapid City; one son, Jon Schomberg, Sioux Falls; seven stepchildren, Keith Onken, Kasey Onken and Tonya Onken, all of Rapid City, Kim Winkler, Harrold, Ken Onken, Pierre, John Onken, Missouri, and Codi Onken, Fort Pierre; his mother, Dorothy Schomberg, Shevlin, Minn.; one brother, Ted Schomberg, Shevlin; one sister, Sherrill Erickson, Hoyt Lakes, Minn.; and 17 grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour before services Friday at the funeral home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City, with the Rev. Dorothy Anderson officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Friends may sign his guestbook at www.kirkfuneralhome.com.
