Muriel M. (Elmore) Gooder
CHATTANOOGA, TN - Muriel M. (Elmore) Gooder, 95 of Chattanooga TN, formerly of Hamilton, MT, went to be with her Heavely Father on Monday, February 12, 2024 at her granddaughter's home.
Muriel was born January 17, 1929 to Vernon and Doris (Alkire) Elmore in Butte, MT.
On December 28, 1962 Muriel married Glenn R. Gooder.
On April 8, 1965, Glenn and Muriel welcomed daughter, Julie into their family.
Muriel is survived by her granddaughter, Crystal (Lofftus) Swanson and her husband, Daniel Swanson; their sons: Wyatt and Barrett Swanson, Chattanooga TN; grandson, Michael Lofftus, Great Falls, MT; and his son, Bishop Lofftus, Minot, ND; siblings: Nancy Mumbower, Columbus, MT, David (Ariel) Elmore, Hamilton, MT, Sharon Luedecke, Hamilton, MT, Gary (Sandy) Elmore, Libby, MT; and their respective families.
Muriel is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Doris Elmore, husband, Glenn R. Gooder, daughter, Julie Gooder Lofftus, and brothers: Donald and James Elmore.
Services will be held at Daly-Leach Chapel February 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with a reception immediately following. A live stream of the service will be available for those unable to attend in person. For those planning to attend, we do ask to wear bright colors if you are comfortable doing that, as Muriel would want this to be a Celebration of her Life. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
