Verle "Nannette" Duncan
VICTOR – Verle "Nannette" Duncan, 75, of Victor passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital. She was born August 7, 1946 in Rhinelander, WI the daughter of Robert Owen Durbin and Ruth Marsha Durbin.
Nannette moved to Missoula in 1954. She attended Lowell Elementary School and both Hellgate and Sentinel High Schools. Nannette worked many years for Jumbo Burger, which was owned by her parents. She also worked for Dr. Kintner at the Western Montana Clinic.
Nannette married Francis Cropp in 1962 and they later divorced. She moved to Darby in 1984 and continued to work in the medical field until her marriage to Raymond LeeRoy Duncan in 2002. He was the joy of her life.
Nannette was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Durbin; husband, Raymond L. Duncan; brother, William Durbin; nephew, Timothy Evans and grand-niece, Amber Gray. She is survived by her sister, Edna (Tom) Lumsden of Oregon; sister, Roberta Gray of Darby; brother, Edward (Ardyth) Durbin of Great Falls; daughter, Marsha Burke of Missoula; daughter, Desiree Holt of Victor; step-daughters, Dena (Rob) Fogel of Victor and Jenelle Rose of Missoula; grandchildren, Christopher Cropp, Nicholas Cropp, Justin Burke, Johnny Burke, Coral Higuera, Tyranny Higuera, Branden Fogel, Harley Fogel and Gabe Rose; sister-in-law, Ronna (Bob) Myers of Oregon; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Private family burial will take place in Augusta, MT at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial be made in Nannette's name to the Bitterroot Humane Association. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.

I have a lot of fond memories with Nanette. I haven't seen her for years . She was always creative and had a wonderful laugh. My prayers are with all family members.
