Alvin Brewster

Alvin Brewster, 64, of Bowling Green, passed away March 5, 2016, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 11, at Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Doug Storts.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
Alvin was born Nov. 2, 1951, in Louisiana, the son of Charles Alvin and Mary Elizabeth Butler Brewster.
On Feb. 25, 1972, he married Kathy Pederson. She survives. Other survivors include: his mother, Mary Brewster; three sons, Rodney (Michelle)Brewster, of Mexico; Terry (Sabrina) Brewster, of Bowling Green; and Danny (Deena) Brewster, of Quincy, Ill.; sister, Linda Brewster-Gruszka, of Bowling Green; and 12 grandchildren, Kyle and Kory Brewster, Ryan Gish, Audrey and Kendal Brewster, Jade Shinn, Austin and Harley Brewster, Ashley Sherwood, Zachary Jackson and Mason Brewster.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Brewster; son, John Brewster; and grandson, Brogan Brewster.
Alvin lived in the Bowling Green area all his life. He worked at Abels for about 20 years and Gully Transportation from 1999-2011. Alvin was active in Khoury League for many years, liked to work on cars and had a very big heart and a lot of sense of humor.
Pallbearers will be Derek Pederson, Bryan Pederson, Kyle Brewster, Kory Brewster, Austin Brewster and Matthew Reid.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Gish, Mason Brewster, Zach Jackson, Matthew Reynolds, Ryan Pederson, Kevin Reid, Christopher and Grant Gruszka.
