Sr. Agape (Magdalena) Wubbe, 98, Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood, passed away at 6:10 a.m., Sunday, June 19, peacefully , at the Convent in Shillington, PA.
Sr. Agape was born in Verne, Germany, on June 11, 1913, a daughter of the late Elisabeth and Hermann Wubbe.
She entered religious life on Dec. 16, 1929, and professed on Feb. 2, 1934. She came to the United States in 1935.
She worked as an Administrator at St. Vincent's Home for Children in Philadelphia from 1963 until 1979. Sister was also the Hospitality Administrator of Mariawald
Renewal Center at the Precious Blood Convent from 1979 until 2001. She then became the Sacristan and outreach Ministry for the Precious Blood Convent from 2001 to present.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Precious Blood Convent Chapel, Shillington, PA 19607, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22. Friends are invited to call Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday morning 9 to 10 a.m. at Precious Blood Convent Chapel. Her Mass and services can be viewed live on our funeral home website starting at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
Interment at Precious Blood Convent Cemetery, Cumru, PA.

The earth has one less angel,and heaven has a new one. Sr Agape was an inspiration to me. She made it to her 98th birthday which I was happy to learn. I'm out of the country and sadly will miss the celebration of her life.

It was a special privilege to have known Sr. Agape. In a unique way we shared each other's spiritual journey. Today her journey unfolds in God's loving arms, welcoming her into life eternal. I am grateful for her faithful loving spirit that has transformed many lives and will continue to inspire others.
