away peacefully on December 13, 2013, surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Elaine (Kauffman) Wynosky. They were married for 55 years.
Born in Minersville, Schuylkill County, he was the son of Charles and Anna (Elensky) Wynosky. Albert attended Minersville High School and played on the football team, which won the 1949 Class A championship. Throughout his youth, he helped with the family beverage business, Wynosky's Bottling Works.
A Navy veteran, he served as a corpsman at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Albert graduated from Temple University School of Pharmacy in 1955 and worked as a pharmacist at Thrift Drug for 37 years. He also worked part-time as a pharmacist for many years at the Hamburg State Hospital. He was a member of the Berks County Pharmaceutical Society.
Albert was a founding parishioner of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, and a faithful volunteer with the church food bank. He was also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a volunteer driver for parish elders.
In his younger years, Albert enjoyed skiing with the Flying Dutchman Ski Club and served as a volunteer ski instructor for the Special Olympics. He was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many fishing and hunting trips with friends and his son Michael and brother Charles.
In addition to his wife, Albert is survived by his four children: Michael of Schnecksville, Lehigh County, husband of Deborah; Laura Adam of Severna Park, Maryland; Lynn Smith of Spring Township; and Elizabeth Kaufmann of West Reading, wife of Scott.
He was deeply proud of his role as grandpa to nine grandchildren: Elliott (husband of Sara), Hannah, Nathan, Kevin, Andreas, Matthew, Jesse, Marcus, and Katie. Albert was also delighted to have a great-grandson, Liam. Additionally, he is survived by sisters, Mary Chappell of Kunkletown, PA, and Elizabeth Behringer of Hunter, ND. He was predeceased by brother, Charles Wynosky and sisters, Regina Wynosky and Anna Sabol.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Loyola Church on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Ignatius St. Vincent de Paul Society, 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.

Hi Laura
Just wanted to wish you and your family well and pass on my condolences at your Dad's passing. I remember your Dad as a man who taught me how to ski. A passion I still enjoy today and also a good natured Dad who didn't rip mine and Don Carswells teenaged face off when we showed up on his doorstep unexpectedly late one night to collect some beer you had told us was ours for the taking. Killer and I still laugh about that today. Anyhow my regrets. His memory brings a smile to my face.

Dear Elaine and Family, we were saddened to hear of Albert's passing. My father considered him a cherished friend and their friendship brought great joy in his life.
I am hoping that my father was there waiting for Albert, and they are scoping out the best tree stand for a deer season that will never end.
Deepest Sympathy,

I just wanted to say how very sorry I am to hear about Albert. I last met him at one of the Wynosky reunions in the late~1970's. I know my Mom and her brothers and sister knew him. I hope to get to know the rest of the family before this happens again.I knew the family from Minersville and Pottsville. We were from Marlin,my Great Grandma was one of Alberts Aunts,Agnes Wynosky Pukas.Take care and know you are in my thoughts and prayers. You will see him again, one day.
