Anna Kapp Obituary


Anna (Ams) Kapp, 93, formerly of Wyomissing, died

November 10, 2018, at ManorCare Health Services, Sinking Spring.

Her husband, Anton Kapp Sr., died December 15, 2004.

Born in Yugoslavia, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Theresa (Schuldhaus) Ams.

Anna was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mill and Primrose Shop, both of Reading, Penndale Knitting Mill, Sinking Spring, and Henson Knitting Mills, West Lawn, as a seamstress, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Anna cherished her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her exceptional baking skills.

Anna is survived by two children, Dr. Anton Kapp (Sally), Oreland, and Maryann Keller (Kevin), South Heidelberg Township; and five grandchildren: Elizabeth, Stephen and Michael Kapp, and Stephanie and Natalie Keller.

A Prayer Service will be held Friday, November 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery with entombment to follow. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, P.O. Box 6217 Reading, PA 19610. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
